Terms of Service
Hello there, if you’re reading this you’re probably thinking about ordering a commission. Cool! This page is a bit long, but it’s here to avoid any problems on both ends.
You can check the prices and availability on Ko-fi↗
General Rules:
1- By transferring the payment it is understood you agree with the TOS.
2- The art starts only after the payment is received.
3- I will send previews during the sketch phase for approval. After the initial approval there will not be any massive changes or redraws made for free to the artwork.
4- All commissions will only be done through Ko-fi. Do not push for other forms of payment.
5- The expected time window to complete the commission is one month. Any delays will be communicated to the client.
6- Please limit to anthro/furry/creatures and no explicit adult content
Keep in mind: I can decline any order if I don’t think it follows the rules.
Artist and Client:
1- Before placing an order please contact me through one of the following websites: Twitter↗; Tumblr↗; Ko-fi↗.
2- Send image references for character, scenes, poses, etc. If you do not have a finished design to provide, you can send detailed text explanations and MS Paint sketches, or whatever it takes to get the idea across. Keep in mind the commission will be declined if no reference is provided.
3- You, the client, will be updated at least 3 times as the art progresses, here is what you can expect from the updates:
3.1- During the sketch phase you can expect a black and white art with a general idea of the posing and composition. This is the moment to define and ask for changes in broad details, poses and such if needed.
3.2- During the line art phase you can expect the art in a much cleaner state and a general idea of the light and shadows of the artwork. Small revisions/corrections are still accepted during this step.
3.3- The coloring process is the last one, here you can expect the colors and lighting to be approaching its final look, during this step the only accepted revision is small color and surface texture details that may have been misunderstood/forgotten. Example: Correcting a character's colar that is meant to be made of translucent blue glass instead of a solid opaque blue).
4- The finished art will be delivered in .PNG through a temporary Google Drive link.
Payment/Refunds:
1- The payment on the Ko-fi commission page is set to "Pay What You Want" so you can insert the final value before soliciting the commission.
2- As stated in General Rules, the artwork will only begin once the payment is received.
3- Full refunds are possible. A full refund will only be accepted if:
3.1- The commission is cancelled on my end for personal issues, which in this case I will notify you of the circumstances and offer the refund.
3.2- The refund is requested before the artwork begins. If you choose to request a refund notify me as soon as possible.
4- Artworks that are in the lineart phase or later cannot be fully refunded. The value to be returned will be directly proportional on how close to completion the artwork is.
If you face any problems directly related to Ko-fi please read their support page↗ or reach out to them.
Keep in mind that refunds might take up to 5 days due to PayPal policies, please be patient.
Copyright/Ownership:
1- I retain the right to post and share the commissioned work on any gallery. This includes every proccess of the piece from "WIP" to finished work.
2- All the characters belong to their respective owners, however the commissioned piece is credited with my name (@heya_raccoon) and under no circumstances can the buyer claim authorship of the art. Just like I never will claim authorship of the characters.
3- All pieces once finished will be posted on my socials with a fitting description like the character’s name, buyer’s @ and such.
3.1- You can however ask to not be tagged, no problem, in any case I will send a message asking if it’s ok to mention you before posting the piece.
3.2- If you wish to post the art on your social media no problem at all, that’s actually very cool, all I ask is to be tagged too because that would be super duper cool and very helpful.
4-The client does not have permission to repost any WIPs/progress images of canceled commissions in their social media. They also do not have permission to pay someone to complete the image or to complete it themselves. The artist retains all rights to WIPs of canceled work and may recycle them as they wish.
5-The arts are NOT available for commercial use, that includes (but isn't limited to) things such as selling prints, promotional material, book illustrations and similar businesses.
6- NO COMMISSIONED PIECE IS AVAILABLE TO BE USED FOR AI ART OR NFTs. I can’t believe I had to write this line but it's 2023 and I have to make this very clear, I do not endorse NFTs nor AI art, and I never will. Don’t EVER ask me about it.
So, long story short: Do anything you want with the art (Roleplay with it; post it; share it, use as official refs for your OCs, etc), as long as it's properly credited and you ain’t using it for money making activities it’s fine. 👍
And that’s it! You’ve reached the end, pretty easy to follow huh? If you still have any questions left, my DMs are the place to go.
